The Challenge

Tooth & Nail Records band Watashi Wa needed visuals that could hold their own alongside the album art for People Like People — not just complement it, but feel like they came from the same world. The challenge was translating the look, feel, and personality of the record into photography that gave the band a cohesive visual identity for the release.

Beyond the album campaign, I also directed multiple music videos for the band — developing a consistent visual language across both still and moving image that captured who Watashi Wa were as artists.
