Building a Brand for AI

The Challenge


Ukumi is an AI-driven video editor built for podcasters — designed to turn raw recordings into polished, professional episodes. The challenge was building a brand experience that could make an ambitious, technical product feel immediately legible to two very different audiences: new customers discovering what Ukumi could do, and investors evaluating its potential.


I personally crafted the full brand experience — designing a bold visual identity, an intuitive web interface, and conceptual animations that demonstrated Ukumi's capabilities. The result was a cohesive presentation that positioned Ukumi as an industry leader, inspiring confidence and enthusiasm in everyone who encountered it.

My Role


  • Designed the full brand identity including logo, mark, and visual language
  • Created the logo mark to exist in both a static state and an illuminated, living state — activating as an AI agent and creative partner
  • Designed the web interface with a focus on clarity and intuitive product storytelling
  • Concepted and produced animations demonstrating Ukumi's AI-driven capabilities
  • Shaped a cohesive brand experience for both customers and investors
