Clover — Content Refresh
Built for the Real World
The Challenge
Clover sought to elevate their online presence with a complete revamp of their website content — showcasing their devices in a more authentic and human-centered way. Over two years, I led a team to reimagine their approach, enhancing the 3D renderings of their devices and orchestrating photo shoots across diverse locations.
The goal was to capture Clover's products in real-world settings, blending precision with authenticity. The result was a dynamic visual library that brought the brand to life, setting a new standard for their digital content and strengthening their connection with customers.

01 — Real-World Photography
Photo shoots spanned a wide range of business environments — from food trucks and taco stands to flower shops, barber shops, and surf shops — capturing Clover's devices in the authentic settings where they live every day. The goal was imagery that felt less like product photography and more like a window into real businesses and real people. Every screen was composited, every person casted. But they were both done with intention and a strong desire to make them feel real. Almost all of the cast were actual business owners or friends of the businesses we captured imagery at to allow the scenes to be as authentic as possible.
02 — 3D Device Rendering
To build more impact into the 3D devices modeled for Clover, I developed generated content to quickly and artistically populate UI throughout a variety of user flows — giving each device a sense of life and context before it ever reached a real-world shoot.
